Vin Info: Jonathan and I found last year and bought big....a lovely wine but sadly not sold the numbers we expected, so it's a real bargin now.

This white is a blend of Chardonnay - Viognier grapes. Good aromatics a touched honey, spicey note with good appley minerally acidity from the Chardonnay.

Vin Info: Wooing Tree is a family owned single vineyard site, situated in the heart of Central Otago.

Ripe black fruits give richness on the nose and flesh on the start of the palate. Damson plum is backed by slightly fresher bilberry and mulberry layers of flavour. The mid palate is rich full of concentrated black cherry but towards the back bilberry and bramble refresh and give a lighter feel to the finish bringing out the fragrances.

If you like this vintage and at this special price, look out for the 2009 which just won Gold Medal at New Zealand wine awards.
