Beef croutes with mustard mayonniase…just one of tonight’s canapés please find detailed below the recipe.
- 500g Beef fillet
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 small french bread sticks
- 20 g butter, melted
- French tarragon
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- 3 teaspoons of whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon of chopped tarragon
Cook the beef, I like to cook my fillet in a very hot griddle 3 minutes either side. Leave to cool before slicing into thin slices. Cut the bread into 1 cm slices, brush with oil and cook on a baking tray for 5-8 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool. For the Mayonnaise, combine the Mayo and mustard and then the chopped tarragon.
Ready to assemble, place the slied beef on your croute topped with a little mayo and taragon to dress.
