Godello is a grape variety grown in north western Spain, at its best in Valdeorras.
It offers wonderful aromatic freshness, that invites you in. The Bodega is run by husband and wife team, managing just 4 hectares of vineyard. Fermentation is in stainless steels vats to maintain the freshness and done at low temperautues for a longer period, up to 4 weeks, as opposed to normal white wine alcohol fermentation of 7 – 10 days.
This is the perfect Spring wine and a great alternative to a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
