I have been meaning to list this wines for some time now, as they are really are delightful – so many thanks for your patience Neil!
Bright gold in colour with delicate notes of brioche and white flowers, with a touch of cinnamon.
The grapes are all sourced from their vienyards in Appledore, Kent. The wines spend a minimum ageing of 28 months on the lees. The blend is made up of 55% pinot noir, 27% pinot meunier and 18% chardonnay.
The wine undergoes temperature controlled fermentation primarily in stainless steel vats but a small percentage is also fermented in oak barrels to give greater complexity and texture on the palate. Dosage is 9 grams/ litre but with great balanced acidity to keep the wine very fresh and moreish. What better way to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day than with a bottle or two of this?
