Whilst Pat and Bob the owners of the estate are not in agreement with their winemaker regarding this particular wine, I loved it and can see why it’s so popular.
Whilst not the ‘style’ of the region and lacks depth and nuance their other wines have, what it does have is bucket loads of upfront soft fruity juicy aromas that you can drink quite happily and easily at lunch on a warm sunny day (should one appear anytime soon)!
This cuvée is named ‘Les Bobines’ after the little wooden cylinders on which the silk threads are wound for weaving a process which increases the strength of the silk.
Certified organic and13.5% vol. Drink now and over the next 12 months.
