The Holidays are coming… but before you all dash off to the French Riviere to drink Provence Rosé or the Italian Lakes to drink wines from Lugana, or Greece to drink Retsina (you are on your own there)… why not try Austria

In August we want to highlight some of the wonderful wines currently being produced and what better month to show off their racy Gruner’s and Riesling & raunchy Rotgipfler (it’s a grape variety not a dog) and the lighter but stylish reds of Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and St. Laurent.

At our summer tasting in June the Rotgipfler was one of the star wines of 30 plus on the night.
