Classy Bordeaux red from the Vialard family, now run by Danielle and her daughter Marie: taking over the great work her father/grandfather did since 1940 and continue to produce some cracking wines, that punch well above their classification.
Cabernet Sauvignon led 58%, with Merlot 34% and Petit Verdot 8%.
Fermented in large used oak vats and then aged for 14-16 months in a combination of barrels, 30% new.
Concentrated powerful, cassis notes, spices, ripe tannins and long finish. 13.5% vol.
