Chenin blanc is such a wonderful grape, as it comes in a host of different styles. Here it’s in ‘mousse’ format or should I say ‘fine persistent delicate sparkling bubbles’. Made in the traditional method, with the secondary fermentation taking place in the bottle, the wine then spends 12 months ‘sur lattes’ in the cellars, to develop delicate white floral and bricohe notes. A big step up from Prosecco and a great alternative to discounted Champagnes! 12% vol.
