Chateau de la Riviere Fronsac 2009

This wines comes from the Fronsac appellation on the ‘right’ bank of Bordeaux and therefore the Merlot grape dominates in the blend about 82% ably backed up by Cabernet Sauvignon and a small % of Cabernet Franc.

This wine displays the lovely plummy dark fruit charactes nicely interwoven with the smoky vanilla oaky notes and sweet tannins.  This latest vintage due to land w/c 10th November 2014.
