Wonderful and inviting brambly fruits on the nose, the grapes making this wine are grown across fifteen plots spread around Rasteau.

The grapes are 100% de-stemmed, fermented and macerated for 28 days (quite a long time by today’s standards) with pumping over and rack & return. After blending, the complete wine is then aged for 12 months in new 228L barrels (from Francois Freres, Burgundy) and clay amphoras.

It punches / oozes 15% vol. but don’t be put off by this, just ensure you drink with a hearty meal on a cold night with a loved one!
