Domaine Maby La Fermade Rouge, Lirac 2021

Richard Maby who took over the overall running of the estate in 2005 was his Father. 50% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, Syrah make up the blend. Soft dark hedgerow fruits with spices and soft tannins. All their wines are now certified organic.

The Lirac region is a small appellation in the heart of the Cotes du Rhone, north west of Avignon making similar style wines to that of Chateauneuf du Pape, but slightly lighter more approachable in their youth. Domaine Maby is one of the top producers with vineyards in both Lirac and Tavel AC.

This latest vintage again displays depth and concentration of dark fruits and spices. Full bodied, soft elegant tannins.
