Finca Museum, Cigales, Rosé 2023

The Finca Museum is based in Cigales, a small Castilla y León DO east of Valladolid.

Another new wine for us that showed really well at a tasting, whilst we weren’t looking for another rosé wine from Spain.. never say never!

The grapes were harvested by hand to allow for attentive selection in the vineyard. They were then carefully carried in small boxes to the winery so they could be processed on the sorting table allowing for further selection. After the processing, they were directly pressed. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks and was followed by only one month of ageing on lees to preserve the freshest aromatic expression.

Floral aromas are accompanied by hints of stone fruit, peach and green apple on the nose. On the palate, the wine shows beautifully balanced acidity, with the floral and fruity notes lingering on the finish. 13% vol.
