The 25-year old Moschofilero vines are grown in the village of Agiorgitika, on the plateau of Mantineia and at an altitude of 600 to 800 metres in the Peleponnese. A complex and lifted wine with characteristic aromas of rose, jasmine and sweet lemon underpinned by delicious buttery notes.
The fermentation as the label stipulates is ‘wild’ not an addition of yeasts. Part acacia oak barrels and part stainless steel with a percentage aged on lees for 4 months to bring extra mouthfeel and texture. A real delight. 12% vol.
