Ktima Gerovassiliou is the brainchild of Evangelos Gerovassiliou. He initiated the revival of the family vineyard by planting the almost-extinct Malagousia in 1981. Fast forward to 2026 and the wines have just got better and better. The Malagousia grapes were macerated on the skins to extract the desired level of aromas and flavours. 80% fermented in stainless steel vats and 20% done in old French oak barrels. Expressive aromas of white pear, peach and lemon zest combine with floral hints. Opulent, with harmonious balance the palate offers a spicy, fresh and mouthwatering finish enveloped in a delicious flinty, mineral character.
14% vol… but trust me don’t panic about this as it is perfectly balanced.
