Charlie at Silent noise describes this wine as being inspired by the light semi-carbonic wines of Beujoulais, which are very ‘smashable’. The fruit is from the Killick vineyard which is a 40-year-old one acre bush vine vineyard in McLaren Flat.
Gorgeous aromatic citrus notes are encircled by macerated strawberries and Allspice. Turkish dried apricots and red sherbet bombs skip around the periphery. The evocatively textural palate is all strawberries and raspberries enhanced by gentle spice with Kirsch seamlessly joining the affair. 14% vol.
