Lemberg ‘Spencer’ Pinotage 2021

£19.95

Once known as the smallest winery in South Africa, Lemberg was established in 1978 by the celebrated winemaker Janey Muller who was known for her Sauvignon Blanc and Hárslevelü. Tulbagh is the smallest wine region in South Africa and is also well known for its scenery and fertile basin.

This wine is named after the soft-hearted ‘Spencer’ who was the first English Bulldog on the farm and was it an easy decision for the first release – 2010 Spencer.

This ‘Spencer’ will challenge your preconceptions of Pinotage, in a style far removed from all stereotypes. Intense red fruit with sweet spices, plums, mulberries and hints of vanilla on the nose. Velvety smooth tannins on the finish.
