One of our very favourite Speyside whiskies. This double matured version is a mix of traditional oak and sherry casks.
Buttery cinnamon toast, concentrated raisin in the background, astringent woody touches, glacé cherry, barrel char. On the palate, there is a big sweet butter hit, with maple syrup, brown sugar, plump raisins, nutmeg, milk chocolate and more of the char from the nose. The finish has a good length, with chocolate, and raisins.
