Made by Kevin Judd, chief winemaker at Cloudy Bay from its inception for 25 years ago. This Marlborough chardonnay offers aromas of lightly toasted brioche, roasted hazelnuts, lemon curd, white peach and melon. There is a smoky savouriness derived from indigenous fermentation in French oak barrigues. A rich and powerful palate, with great texture and concentration and a crisp grapefruit finish.
