Vermentino di Gallura Superiore D.O.C.G. A beautiful white from Sardinia. Rich and appealing, with notes of honeysuckle and stone fruit on the nose. The palate is textured, with notes of ripe peach, lemon peel, and white spice. The broad character is balanced by great acidity and a saline freshness. 8 months ageing on the lees adds complexity, and 20% of the wine is aged in lightly-toasted oak barrels. Perfect pairing for seafood linguini.
