Te Mério Sauvignon Blanc, Nelson, New Zealand 2023

Another new listing for us this year from a recent tasting. Really liked this and an excellent point of difference from Marlborough region Sauvignon Blancs, as this comes from the North-West of South Island and the region of Nelson (where the Flynn family make their excellent Neudorf wines as well as Siegfried Estate).

Cut grass and asparagus notes (and that’s not just because I live in the Vale of Evesham where all the UK asparagus is grown at this time of year), zesty notes with bell peppers and well balanced. 12.5% vol.
