For those of you who may not be aware, Richard is well travelled in South Africa (and the Loire Valley) and ‘liberates’ small parcels of wines otherwise destined for blending or too small quantities to be commercially viable for the big players.

Albarino, originates from Galicia in north-west Spain – but small plantings have found its way to SA. Whilst a little more rounded in style, the wine still manages to maintain the wonderful clean refreshing acidity that it’s renown for. 13% vol.
