Vigneti del Salento ‘il Muri’ Primitivo 2022

This is a large but progressive cave co-operative in the heel of Italy, in Puglia. This is their unashamedly fruit forward medium bodied Primitivo.

It bursts with open with rich dark spicy fruits, juicy tannins and a soft finish.  Whilst the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, a portion of it then spends a few months ageing in old French and American oak barrels, to add depth and complexity. 13.5% vol.
