Well I have always loved the wines of JD Roussow’s (the winemaker at Wildeberg) and this is no exception! This is their latest vintage to arrive and again a little firecracker. It is ideal with this fine sunshine we are experiencing at the moment, grab a bottle, stick in the fridge for ten minutes and pull a cork and serve in large glasses and trust me you and your guests will wish you bought more!
Made from a single plot of Cinsualt planted in 1974 in Wellington.
This has just such a wonderful inviting red berried /cherry/raspberry, cinnamon notes on the nose and soft crunchy acidity that drive the wine with a touch of oak to give extra depth and dimension. 13.5% vol.
