A lovely mix of 80% Syrah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cinsault in the heart of Swartland. The Syrah is sourced from 7 different vineyards grown on a variety of soils. All the vines are dry farmed (no irrigation) which ensures low yields but good quality grapes.
After fermentation all the grapes are blended and aged for 7 months in a combination of large oak barrels, 500 litre french oak barrels, concrete and stainless steel vats.
The initial nose is wonderful fragrant and perfumed peppery, blackberry note, and the cabernet sauvignon offers middle palate weight. 13.5% vol.
