Another little cracking wine from Bodegas Urqo (we first listed these wines last year) and this is a latest release in the UK.
The grapes for this Organic Malbec come from Finca Los Durmientes, located in the Uco Valley, at an average altitude of 1,030 meters above sea level.
The wine is made with reduced amounts of sulphur dioxide and with all the care required by organic production standards. It is a low-intervention wine. During ageing, it is kept in stainless steel tanks on its fine lees to enhance its flavour.
Inviting violet notes on the nose, graphite, perfumed, cherry notes and spices, soft tannins, medium bodied. 14% vol. It’s cool and crunchy… are you?
