Passing Giants, Pinot Noir 2020

We tasted this wine last September and in truth, we meant to list it then! However, we recently tasted it again in London last week and were still impressed… and even more so the fact it is now on offer and a cracking one to boot, although for a limited time only.

The grapes are from Marlborough region on the south island. There’s a lot to enjoy here, from the darkly exotic allspice on the nose to the refreshing plum and milky cherry-chocolate generosity on the palate toasty structure for a Pinot that is ultimately lifted yet generous. The wine has had 10 months ageing in French oak barrels. 13% vol.
